Ross Lipstein

Ross leads the Products team at Transcend, which compiles tools, resources, and models that are used by schools and systems, and the coaches that support them, to redesign student experiences to be more engaging and effective. These products synthesize insights and artifacts from across the field as well as from hundreds of Transcend’s partnerships over the past decade, weaving together two key dimensions of Transcend’s work with communities: the ‘what’ (design guidance, adoptable solutions, implementation tools, etc.) and the ‘how’ (tools and guidance for navigating multi-year transformation of student experiences). Before joining Transcend, Ross managed research & development at Summit Public Schools, and prior to that, Ross worked in international development focused on both education and agriculture, spending time especially in Ethiopia, India, and South Africa. Ross has an MBA from Stanford, an MPA/ID from Harvard, and an M.Ed. from the Broad Center.
