Rucha Vankudre

Rucha Vankudre is a Senior Economist/Research Director at Lightcast. Recent research topics include an analysis of technology trends in Australia, understanding the potential impact of the CHIPS act on the semiconductor workforce and investigating current hiring and job market patterns in the US. Rucha manages a team of analysts supporting Lightcast’s internal research agenda.Prior to joining Lightcast, Rucha served as the Research Director at a large education think tank based out of Harvard University, where she oversaw projects in urban school districts focused on reducing the racial achievement gap and managed a team of research analysts. She also has extensive experience with econometric modeling and worked on the marketing team at American Express.Rucha holds a M.A. in Economics from Boston University and an A.B. in Economics from Harvard University.
