Ruchir Arora is the Co-Founder and CEO of CollegeDekho which is India’s largest student enrolment and learning platform in the higher education segment with over 225 Million Website Sessions and getting counselling requests from over 4 Million students which is roughly 50% of all students looking to take admission in a college in a year in India.Ruchir's vision is to create greater parity and provide access to information and guidance for students across the nation to access Higher Education. With India's GER at 27.4% in Higher Education, CollegeDekho provides FREE access to College and course information, Career Counselling and India’s first Common Application Form for students to apply to colleges and universities. It also helps students get access to the latest information on admissions, entrance tests, infrastructure, courses, and careers while under its "Assured" offering, CollegeDekho focuses on outcome based education by working with Universities to provide advanced learning and specializations in emerging fields thereby ensuring better career outcomes for the learners. Born in a small town in Uttar Pradesh called Meerut, Ruchir excelled in academics and regularly engaged in sports and co-curricular activities. Ruchir did his BTech from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) Nagpur in 1997 and did his MBA from the Indian School of Business (ISB). He launched HT Campus for Hindustan Times before becoming an Entrepreneur.
