He works with the world’s greatest teachers and the precision and personalization of AI tutors to transform how the world learns. Previously, Sam co-founded and led GetSmarter, one of the early pioneers in premium online short courses for working professionals. Founded in 2008, GetSmarter partnered with leading global universities to deliver high-touch digital education at scale. The company expanded internationally and was ultimately acquired by 2U, Inc., marking a significant milestone in the evolution of online executive education. Based in Cape Town and working globally, Sam continues to build organisations and partnerships that shape the next era of education.
