Sean Brown is the Managing Director of Juvo Ventures and reports directly to General Partners, Nadeem Syed and President Scott Pulsipher, and is a senior advisor with Western Governors University and Head of Impact Investing. Sean has a Jurisprudence Doctorate from the J. Reuben Clark School of Law and is a active licensed Utah attorney. He is a Thurgood Marshall Fellow and volunteers with the Utah Minority Bar Association, Lone Peak High School Football, as well as local youth groups.
Sean began his legal and business career working for King and Spalding LLP in Atlanta, Georgia in 2002. He made a lateral move to work closer to family in Utah at the law firm of Ballard Spahr Andrews and Ingersoll LLP, then began teaching as an adjunct professor at BYU in 2006 and loves working with students.
He is a member of the National Venture Association as well as the Hawaii Venture Capital Association and is passionate about EdTech and the Future of Work. Sean actively participates on 21 EdTech and Future of Work boards. He loves to support his seven children in anything they are passionate about, and as a result has often found himself on different types of sports fields volunteering as a parent coach.
