Sean Burke

As Ascend Learning's president of healthcare, Sean Burke leads several brands including ATI Nursing Education, National Healthcareer Association, MedHub, BoardVitals, NursingCE, Advanced Practice Education Associates, Jones & Bartlett Learning and Public Safety Group. He joined Ascend Learning in 2020 after 25 years of progressive experience as a customer-focused brand leader with a demonstrated track record of leading successful healthcare industry go-to-market and product portfolio transformations. Prior to Ascend, he held roles at GE and GE Healthcare including President & CEO – Asia Pacific (Japan, Korea, Australia & New Zealand), Chief Commercial Officer – US & Canada, and Chief Marketing Officer of Diagnostic Imaging and Healthcare IT. Sean earned a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in management and marketing from Boston College. Outside of work, Sean enjoys spending time with his family in addition to skiing, traveling, and cooking.
