Dr. Seema Sidhu is the Director of Learning and Development for the Anaheim Union High School District (AUHSD), where she oversees state and federal programs. Previously, as a high school principal, she collaborated with stakeholders to integrate AI education schoolwide, working to ensure that all students and families understand both the opportunities and challenges of AI. Under her leadership, Kennedy High School earned the 2024 Civic Learning Award of Excellence and the California Distinguished Schools Award. As a high school assistant principal, Dr. Sidhu has supported the development of the AI Career and Technical Education pathway and created the Women in STEAM Series, connecting students with industry professionals. She is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and forward-thinking learning environment, empowering the AUHSD community to navigate and thrive in the evolving landscape of AI. Prior to her work as an administrator, Dr. Sidhu taught high school English teacher and Puente (Bridge) for the Corona-Norco Unified School District. She began her teaching career in the Elk Grove Unified School District prior to relocating to southern California. Recognized as a Woman of Distinction by State Senator Tom Umberg, Dr. Sidhu continues to champion innovative educational strategies to support all students.
