Sergio is founder of Roble Ventures, a seed venture capital firm thematically focused on investing in global human enablement technologies to help all people improve their socio-economic lives. Sergio has been as successful investor and entrepreneur who has invested and operated global tech businesses in Silicon Valley. Sergio has been an early investor and active board member in unicorns like Kahoot! ($3B IPO), Udemy ($3B IPO), and Adaptive Insights ($1.6Bn exit) during his decade-long career as an investor. He has also held entrepreneurship and leadership roles at high-growth tech companies like eBay, PayPal, and Portal Software. He co-founded the Entrepreneur-In-Residence Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Education and also lectures at the University on entrepreneurship on edtech. Sergio received his MBA from Harvard Business School and his BS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University. Sergio is originally from Mexico and is a promoter of LatinX entrepreneurship and venture capital. He is on the board of nonprofits which include LatinxVC and Harvey Mudd College.
