Shayla Cornick

Dr. Shayla Cornick is the Director of R&D on the Edtech team at Digital Promise. She has over 20 years of experience in K-12 education, to include roles as a teacher, researcher, technology manager and assessment director. She is passionate about creating more equitable experiences for teachers and students, and at Digital Promise she supports edtech R&D by providing capacity building tools and resources for researchers and developers to create more equitable K-12 learning technologies. Shayla also works closely with Edtech product developers that leverage advancements in technology, such as AI, to improve active learning and engagement in mathematics.
