Sonia Jindal

Sonia Jindal is a Program Officer for Data R&D on the Digital Holistic Student Supports (DHSS) team at the Gates Foundation. She leads efforts to advance data infrastructure, analytics, and AI-driven solutions that improve student advising and success in higher education. Her work focuses on developing scalable, interoperable, and equity-centered digital tools. With a background spanning computational and applied mathematics, machine learning, and systems engineering, Sonia is an interdisciplinary technologist passionate about building impactful, human-centered technology.
