Stacy James

With over 20 years of experience in education, I am dedicated to inspiring students to become lifelong learners and empowering educators to reach their highest potential. As a classroom teacher, I taught grades 5 through 8, with a primary focus on language arts. After the leaving the classroom, I became a Literacy Instructional Specialist. In this role, I was able to sharpen my expertise in designing and delivering impactful professional learning and coaching cycles that equipped teachers with strategies to improve student outcomes. Currently, I am an Assistant Principal in Gwinnett County Public Schools supporting students and educators at Glenn C. Jones Middle School in the Seckinger's AI-themed cluster. It is exciting to be part of a team that is helping prepare students each and every day for a future shaped by innovation and change.
