Stephen Whiffin

Stephen Whiffin MEd, BEd, BBA is Assistant Superintendent of Schools and Chief Information Officer in the Coquitlam School District, located in Metro Vancouver, Canada. A 26-year educator, he is responsible for the design and implementation of the “Conditions for 21st Century Learning” systemic planning model which has led to Coquitlam’s 75 schools gaining an international reputation for digital learning. Founder of the Inquiry Hub, named the most innovative program in Canada by the Canadian Education Association, he was recognized nationally as a Canadian Educational Technology Leader. Stephen has provided significant lectures and presentations at international events including the International Society for Technology in Education Conference (Chicago, Philadelphia, Denver USA); the British Education and Training Technology Exposition (London, UK); Microsoft E2 Educator Exchange (Singapore, Paris FR); C21 Education CEO Summit (Toronto, Canada); and the China Education Exposition (Zhuhai, China).
