Sunil Leads Channels & Alliances at AWS India Pvt. Ltd, building partner models to support industries like Education, Space, NPOs, for India and South Asia region. His responsibilities include working with the world’s largest education ecosystem of the most innovative Education start- ups and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Venture Capital (VC) and accelerators. Engaging with the government to drive the digital transformation of the education and skills ecosystem. As the partner lead Sunil works on identifying, building and nurturing the partner ecosystem of Resellers, Aggregators and Distributors focused on Education and Government. Most recently, Sunil has been focused on building a GEN AI partner ecosystem with a unique use case-based interventions to drive ease of adoption and usage across industries.Sunil is also on the board of a Non-Profit (https://www.katha.org/ ) focused on connecting grassroot work in education, Katha via its program bring children living in poverty into reading and quality education. Over the past three decades, through its many programs, Katha has helped over one million children help themselves out of poverty.With more than 20+ years of information technology industry experience, Sunil has held numerous executive positions at Fortune 500 companies such as Novell, Microsoft and Adobe. Sunil, has a very rich experience of also ideating and creating his own startup focused on “Uberization of employability” for students in India.
