Suzanne Towns

Suzanne is the Managing Director of EQOS, a partnership with Burning Glass Institute and Jobs for the Future, establishing quality standards for non-degree credentials. With 20+ years' experience, she focuses on economic development, workforce transformation, poverty alleviation, and gender equity. Previously, she led efforts at DC Workforce Investment Council, modernized Seattle's workforce system, led national initiatives, managed $50 million investments at United Way of NYC, and contributed to post-Great Recession economic recovery in New York. Suzanne holds a BA in Forensic Psychology from City University of NY and an MSSW in Workforce Development from Columbia University. Currently based in Washington DC.
