Sydney Kobza is the Assistant Administrator of Career, Technical, and Adult Education at the Nebraska Department of Education. In this role, she provides state-level leadership and oversight for the Strengthening Career & Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V), supporting school districts and community colleges in delivering high-quality Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and instruction. Sydney’s work includes organizing and facilitating professional development, guiding research, and data reporting, and collaborating to implement Nebraska’s CTE mission and vision. She is dedicated to expanding career development opportunities through awareness, exploration, and preparation, ensuring students have meaningful pathways to success. Additionally, she is passionate about enhancing learning beyond the classroom, fostering connections between education and industry. As a proud member of the Nebraska CTE team, Sydney is committed to empowering educators and students through innovative, high-quality CTE experiences.
