Tom has over twenty years of experience transforming the educational technology, digital learning and assessment industries with broad exposure in the US, and emerging markets like Brazil, India, China and South Africa. He strongly believes that education is the key to unlocking societal progress and achievement. As the leader of Pearson's Higher Education and Virtual Schools businesses, Tom has experience in growing and transforming businesses through periods of significant volatility and disruption. He leads teams focused on strategy, go to market and product shaping our digital road maps and transformation plans as we help over 10m learners globally in K-12, and higher education learn in a period of significant technological change. We work closely with academic institutions to partner with them to create world class teaching and learning products, powered by AI, to help people realize the life they imagine through learning. He has a master's degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Edinburgh.
