Trace Urdan

Trace Urdan is a managing director at Tyton Partners, where he works as an M&A advisor to companies and institutions operating in the broadly defined education market. Before joining Tyton, he had a 20-year career as an equity research analyst covering publicly traded education companies for Wall Street investors, most recently with Credit Suisse. During his career, Trace has followed a wide range of companies serving the education market, including those operating in early childhood, K-12, higher education, and career training. He is widely cited as an expert on the topics of for-profit education, education technology, and education policy and has written extensively on these topics. He received a BA from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
