With over 22 years of experience in education, edtech, and public sector sales, I currently serve as the Head of Education & Edtech business at Google Cloud. In this capacity, I lead a high-performing sales team responsible for driving Google Cloud and Google Workspace sales and revenue within India and the SAARC regions. My responsibilities encompass the acquisition of new clients, the migration of customers from alternative cloud providers or on-premise solutions, and the scaling of the "Digital Campus on Google Cloud" program, designed specifically for private education institutions.Furthermore, I possess a strong interest in mentoring, coaching, and investing in early-stage edtech startups, leveraging my extensive domain expertise and network. I have facilitated successful exits for several edtech companies, spearheaded complex technology projects with government and education bodies, and established a presence as a public speaker, interview panelist, and board member in various forums and institutions.My overarching objective is to accelerate the growth of edtech innovation and adoption both in India and internationally, and to empower educators and learners with optimal tools and practices in the digital age.
