For 13 years, Vicki served as a senior executive at Pearson, including as CEO of GED Testing Service, where she led the organization through a period of transformation focused on learner success, access, and workforce relevance. During her tenure as CEO of GED Testing Service, Vicki modernized the GED program to better serve adult learners facing barriers to education and employment. She championed innovations that connected academic achievement with real career outcomes, ensuring learners did not just earn a credential but gained confidence, direction, and a pathway to a better future. Her leadership emphasized equity, accessibility, and practical skill building, helping millions of learners progress toward college, workforce training, and meaningful employment. Vicki is focused on how learning could translate into economic mobility by working with employers, workforce organizations, and education providers to align credentials with real job opportunities. At the core of her work has always been a deep commitment to the learner, especially adults and frontline workers who need guidance, flexibility, and support to move forward. Today, Vicki is the Chief Growth Officer at Pace AI, where she leads strategy and partnerships to scale AI powered learning support for ESL learners, adult learners, and workforce participants. At Pace AI, she is helping redefine how AI can serve as a personalized guide, building confidence, strengthening foundational skills, and supporting learners as they navigate education and career pathways. Throughout her career, Vicki has been driven by one mission to expand opportunity by combining education, technology, and empathy so learners can build sustainable careers and better lives.
