Yoonseok Yang

Yoonseok (Yoon) Yang is the CEO and co-founder of Pensieve, with deep expertise in applying AI to education. Before founding Pensieve, he was one of the youngest full-time AI research scientists in Korea, working at the AI-education unicorn Riiid. Yoon began publishing papers at top AI conferences after his first year of college, focusing on the application of large language models (LLMs) to intelligent tutoring systems. He founded Pensieve after graduating from UC Berkeley with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, driven by a mission to solve critical problems in higher education through AI.
