Miles Woodhull is a Partner at the National Center for Grow Your Own, a 501(c)(3) organization that helps states and districts create no-cost/low-cost pathways to the teaching profession via Grow Your Own and Registered Apprenticeship frameworks. Previously, Miles held numerous roles at the Tennessee Department of Education, including Chief of Staff for Operations. He began his career as a high school algebra teacher in Houston, Texas. Miles has a master's degree in public affairs from the O’Neill School at Indiana University, where he explored the relationship between public service motivation, mission valence, and employee recruitment and retention in public and parapublic spaces. Miles graduated cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis, with a degree in economics.
