David Marchick is Dean of the Kogod School of Business at American University, where he oversees more than 2,000 students and has led major initiatives in AI, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. He recently spearheaded a transformation in AI adoption described as one of the most consequential in business education. Previously, he served as COO of the U.S. Development Finance Corporation and held leadership roles at the Carlyle Group, bringing deep experience across policy, finance, and global development.
