Meet a 13-year-old chess prodigy, Tani Adewumi, who rose to sudden stardom at the age of eight when he won the New York State Championship, beating 73 other opponents. At the time his family was living in a homeless shelter in New York but despite this challenging background, he went on to be named a national master at just 10 years old and is now working towards becoming a grandmaster. Tani has his own foundation and is actively involved in philanthropy. In this interview, we hear about his journey to chess and what keeps him going.
