Geoffrey Canada (President, Harlem Children's Zone, and Founder, The William Julius Wilson Institute) joins Rosa Flores (Journalist, MSNBC) at the ASU+GSV Summit in “Meeting Education's Fierce Urgency of Now: A Conversation with Geoff Canada” to discuss education reform, economic mobility, and strategies to support children and families at scale.

Geoffrey Canada is renowned for his pioneering work helping children and families and as a leading advocate for education reform. He created the Harlem Children’s Zone, a birth-through-college network serving more than 13,000 low-income students and families in Central Harlem. In 2020, he founded The William Julius Wilson Institute to help communities design and implement place-based programs that address poverty, narrow the racial wealth gap, and expand economic mobility.
