Proximate Policy: How Multi-Sector Strategies Can Advance Systems-Level Change

What does it look like to bring philanthropy and policy together with proximate voices to advance real systems change? This session will explore how to include proximate leaders and voices in policy decisions, government task forces, procurement methods, and advocacy‚-and how philanthropy can advance this powerful approach to improving outcomes, including in the education and workforce sectors. Attendees will hear examples of what this looks like in practice, including through recent federal legislation and task forces, and what funders, entrepreneurs, and other changemakers can apply in their own practice.
