Over the course of the last decade, Paul Quinn College has successfully transformed itself from a small, failing Historically Black College into one of the five most innovative higher education institutions in America. PQC has achieved this by focusing on the needs of the communities it serves (food deserts, environmental justice, workforce readiness, and higher ed access and affordability, etc.). Recently, the school has announced its most ambitious goal yet - the eradication of intergenerational poverty. In this session, President Michael J. Sorrell will discuss how the college intends to scale its latest set of innovations in order to accomplish this goal and what you can to participate. Michael Sorrell, President, Paul Quinn College
