Designing For What Schools Actually Need: Human-Centered R&D across AI, EdTech, & Practice

Too many tools fail—not because of bad technology, but because they weren’t designed with educators. This session brings together LEAP Pilot Network school teams, edtech innovators, and R&D partners to explore what it truly means to co-design solutions that work in real classrooms. The session will highlight LEAP’s design-thinking model and the LEAP Learning Framework alongside innovators partnering with school design teams across the country. This includes how our partnership with R&D partners supports innovators through outcomes and integration, and how partnerships with Education Innovators reinforce the importance of continuous R&D informed by educator needs and student voices.
