Childcare Is a Workforce Issue - Higher Education Is Innovating to Solve It

Childcare is a workforce issue. Employers across the U.S. are recognizing that lack of access to affordable, high-quality care is impacting their workforce recruitment, retention, and productivity. Lack of adequate childcare is also a major issue for student parents, impacting their ability to complete their degrees on time, if at all. We will highlight our efforts to quantify this challenge for a large urban community college system, Dallas College, which aims to better serve student parents and be one of the best places to work in the DFW metroplex.
