Education and Learning Transformation in California

This panel discussion will explore the role of EdTech and state-level policy in cultivating an educational ecosystem in California that fosters innovation and empowers learners. In this panel, leaders from the governor’s office, higher education, and public policy will take a system-level perspective to identify factors that encourage or hinder the adoption of new educational technology in California schools, explore the role of the state government in building capacity to serve diverse learners with new offerings, and describe new roles for entrepreneurs and funders within the educational ecosystem of the state.
