Evidence Driven School System Leadership and the Role of R&D

The Alliance for Learning Innovation (ALI) invites superintendents and school system leaders to a conversation about education R&D at the state and local levels. This session will start with a short panel that illuminates how superintendents are using education R&D in practice in their districts, and explores challenges they may be facing as they work to prioritize evidence-based decision-making. After the panel, audience members will be invited to share their own experiences with education R&D in an interactive format, and react to an ALI brief on recommendations for strengthening state and local education R&D infrastructure.
