As the supplement market grows, states, districts, and schools are increasingly challenged to maintain instructional coherence centered on the instructional core. EdReports and CEMD have embarked on a project this year to better understand the needs of the field and provide critical information states and districts can use. EdReports Chief Academic Officer, Courtney Allison, and Executive Director, Center for Education Market Dynamics (CEMD), Lora Kaiser will share findings from new research into state and district policy and improved definitions to bring clarity to common terms states and districts are using. Additionally, EdReports is using and contributing to this research to consider criteria for the potential review of supplemental math materials in the future.
