AI: What Are the Risks and How to Prepare

Policymakers at the federal, state, and local level are developing frameworks for regulating AI in elementary and secondary education.  Regulators are grappling with how to craft policies that ensure AI fairness, safety and effectiveness while not limiting innovation.  This session will bring together experts to discuss the current landscape of AI laws and regulations, the risks posed to platforms and users as well as how to develop mitigation strategies.
